How we Recycle
Hurricane Hauling & Demolition, Inc. uses the Marin Resource Recovery Center as its primary dump facility. They provide the citizens of Marin and surrounding counties with a clean, enclosed environment for the disposal of solid waste. It is an indoor facility the size of approximately three football fields. This facility accepts all types of non-hazardous commercial and residential solid waste including yard waste, dirt, rock, concrete, demolition debris, large appliances, and other debris. Each month, the center processes nearly 3,000 tons of recyclables using state-of-the-art equipment. A customized system of screens, conveyors, blowers, magnets, and hand-sorting separates dirt, sand, metal, wood, concrete, paper, and other materials for recovery.

The Marin Resource Recovery Center is perhaps the most sophisticated recycling facility in the country. Visitors from around the world come to observe their state-of-the-art facility.

Keeping the Bay Area Green
Hurricane Hauling & Demolition Inc. uses the Marin Resource Recovery Center as its primary dump facility. They accept and process collected recyclables including glass bottles, aluminum and tin cans, newspaper, office waste paper, cardboard. Individuals are able to bring in their hazardous waste to be processed. As a result, a smaller percentage of trash is going to the landfill.
